Who May Use Twined

Twined is intended only for people who are 18 or older. By using the site or joining the waitlist, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms.

The Waitlist

The current Twined experience is a pre-launch waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not create a paid account, guarantee access, guarantee a launch date, guarantee beta access, guarantee any particular position or invitation timing, or guarantee that Twined will launch in your location.

We may accept, reject, prioritize, pause, remove, or close waitlist entries at our discretion, including for safety, abuse prevention, legal, product, operational, or availability reasons.

Your Information

You agree to provide information that is accurate enough for the waitlist purpose and to avoid submitting information you do not have the right to share. You are responsible for what you choose to include in optional free-form fields.

You grant Cortis LLC permission to use the information you submit to manage the waitlist, plan and improve Twined, evaluate beta access, prevent abuse, and communicate with you as described in our Privacy Policy.

Communications

By joining the waitlist, you agree that we may email you about your waitlist request, launch timing, beta opportunities, product updates, policy changes, and related Twined news. You can opt out of non-essential marketing or product update messages by replying to our emails or contacting us.

Beta and Pre-Release Features

If we invite you to test Twined, beta and pre-release features may be incomplete, unavailable, inaccurate, changed, reset, or discontinued at any time. We may add additional beta terms before granting access.

AI, Relationship, and Dating Disclaimers

Twined is intended to help people think about relationships and introductions. It is not a therapist, medical provider, legal advisor, emergency service, background-check service, or safety guarantee.

AI-generated or AI-assisted content can be incomplete, incorrect, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for your choices, communications, meetings, relationships, and safety decisions.

We do not promise matches, introductions, compatibility, relationship outcomes, emotional outcomes, or that any person you meet through Twined will be safe, truthful, available, compatible, or appropriate for you.

Safety and Emergencies

Do not use Twined for emergencies or urgent safety needs. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact local emergency services, a crisis line, law enforcement, or another qualified source of immediate help.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Twined if you are under 18 or if applicable law prohibits your use.
• Submit false, misleading, unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, exploitative, hateful, sexualized minor-related, or non-consensual content.
• Impersonate anyone or submit another person's personal information without authorization.
• Attempt to scrape, overload, interfere with, reverse engineer, bypass security for, or abuse the site, API, Turnstile, rate limits, or infrastructure.
• Use Twined to spam, harass, stalk, discriminate, threaten, exploit, or harm anyone.
• Use the site or waitlist for unlawful, commercial scraping, competitive intelligence, or security testing without written permission.

Pricing and Availability

Any pre-launch pricing, plan details, features, limits, availability, or launch statements are informational and may change before or after launch. Nothing on the waitlist site is an offer to sell a specific subscription on specific terms.

Ownership

Twined, the site, design, copy, branding, software, and related materials are owned by Cortis LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Third-Party Services

Twined depends on third-party infrastructure and service providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, security incidents, policies, or content outside our reasonable control.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information. By using the site or joining the waitlist, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Suspension or Removal

We may suspend access, remove waitlist entries, block submissions, or stop providing all or part of Twined at any time if we believe it is reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, abuse prevention, product operations, or protection of Twined or others.

No Warranties

The site, waitlist, emails, beta access, and related services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cortis LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, emotional distress, reputational harm, relationship outcomes, personal interactions, or third-party conduct.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the site, waitlist, or these Terms will be limited to the greater of 100 USD or the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim. For the pre-launch waitlist, you have paid us nothing.

Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cortis LLC from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the site, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or violation of another person's rights.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Wyoming will have jurisdiction and venue for disputes, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms as Twined changes. If changes are material, we will provide notice when appropriate. Your continued use of the site or waitlist after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
