Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use the waitlist, and limited technical information needed to keep the service reliable and protected from abuse.

• Contact information, including your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your phone number.
• Waitlist profile answers, including dating intent, gender, who you are seeking to meet, age, city or country, beta tester interest, and anything you write in optional notes.
• Communications information, including whether we sent you a welcome or waitlist email and any messages you send us.
• Technical and anti-abuse information, including a salted hash of your IP address, user agent, locale, request timing signals, rate-limit events, and Cloudflare Turnstile verification results.
• Basic site preferences, such as locale routing information used to show the site in the right language.

Sensitive Information

Some information you choose to provide may be considered sensitive under certain laws, including information that may relate to sex life, sexual orientation, gender identity, relationship preferences, or personal circumstances. We use this information only to manage the waitlist, prepare Twined, plan beta access, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about Twined.

By submitting optional answers that include sensitive information, you consent to our processing of that information for those purposes. You can skip optional questions or ask us to delete your waitlist record.

How We Use Information

• To hold and manage your place on the Twined waitlist.
• To understand who is interested in Twined and plan launch access, beta testing, product availability, and safety controls.
• To send transactional waitlist messages, launch notices, beta invitations, and product updates that you can opt out of.
• To prevent spam, fraud, automated submissions, abuse, and security incidents.
• To maintain, debug, improve, and measure the waitlist and related pre-launch experience.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Legal Bases for EEA, UK, and Similar Users

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information based on one or more of the following: your consent, including for optional sensitive answers; steps taken at your request before entering into a possible customer relationship; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and launching Twined; and compliance with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as needed to operate Twined, comply with law, or protect our rights.

• Supabase, which hosts the waitlist database.
• Resend, which sends Twined waitlist and launch emails.
• Upstash, which supports rate limiting and anti-abuse controls.
• Cloudflare Turnstile, which helps verify that submissions are not automated abuse.
• Vercel or other hosting and infrastructure providers that serve the site and API.
• Professional advisors, service providers, authorities, or transaction counterparties when reasonably necessary for legal, security, corporate, or compliance purposes.

Cookies, Tracking, and Do Not Track

The waitlist does not use third-party advertising trackers. The site may use routing or preference cookies needed for localization, and Cloudflare Turnstile may use limited browser signals to verify that submissions are legitimate.

Some browsers send Do Not Track signals. There is no common legal or technical standard for responding to those signals, and we do not change the waitlist behavior in response to them. Other parties are not authorized by us to collect personal information across different websites for behavioral advertising through the waitlist.

Email Choices

You can opt out of non-essential marketing or product update emails by replying to any Twined email with your request or by emailing us at the contact address below. We may still send messages that are necessary to respond to you, manage your waitlist request, or satisfy legal obligations.

Retention

We keep waitlist information for as long as needed to operate the waitlist, prepare and launch Twined, contact you about your spot, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and comply with law. If you ask us to delete your waitlist record, we will delete or de-identify it unless we need to keep limited information for legal, security, or compliance reasons.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect waitlist information, including server-side validation, rate limiting, bot checks, database access controls, and salted IP hashing. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Processing

Cortis LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws different from where you live.

Your Rights and Requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or an appeal of our response. To make a request, including to export or permanently delete your waitlist record, email us at privacy@twined-ai.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

California Privacy Notice

For California residents, the categories of personal information we collect are identifiers, contact information, internet or network activity, geolocation at the city or country level if you provide it, inferences or preferences you provide, and sensitive personal information if you choose to submit optional dating, gender, seeking, or notes information. We use and disclose those categories for the purposes and with the service providers described above. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

Twined and the waitlist are intended only for people who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 submitted information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as Twined changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
